Examples of Stuck Mindsets

Sometimes you can speed up the process of “getting unstuck” by looking into this list and finding the subconscious mindset that is holding you back.

Here are some examples of the most common subconscious beliefs getting in the way.

Fears

  • Fear of success
  • Fear of being visible
  • Fear of being invisible

  • “I don’t have what it takes”
  • “I’m a failure” or “I always fail at everything”
  • “Nobody respects me” or “I am unworthy of respect” or “I am ridiculous”

If you have found one stuck mindset that “resonates”

That’s good! Annoying, sure, but useful. Now you can write it down somewhere, and observe how it affects other areas of life. Now you can ask questions, like

  • “Is this true? Can I be 100% sure that it is true?”
  • “In what ways is this NOT true?”
  • “Is this from the past? Where did I get this from? Who said this to me?”
  • “What would I do if a friend believed this? What would I say to them?”
  • “Is there something I can do to give myself reassurance?”

The answers don’t matter as much as ASKING the questions, and keeping on ASKING more questions.

If you have NOT found one stuck mindset that “resonates”

Then don’t worry about it. Either it’s too hidden (ie: too subconscious) and you’re not ready to see it yet, or it’s just not on this list.

Remember: ALL INQUIRY IS USEFUL.

Yes, even when you don’t get useful “answers”. Even when it is depressing to know. ALL INQUIRY IS USEFUL.
